Give me all the Trims!

Give me all the Trims!

Have you noticed a big shift in tile projects? From backsplashes to shower walls we are seeing nearly seamless trims. It is so sleek! (Bullnose is good. Don’t get me wrong. We go way waaaaaaay back. We are not breaking up! Okay?)   But I do spy a trend though of clean edges that don’t detract your eye yet focuses on your tile design. Metal trim used to be there just for function when there wasn’t a coordinating bullnose. But now it’s a hot trend and a sought after look.    Metal trim usually has the rule of three. Three of the latest colors to coordinate with your units are antique bronze, satin nickel and satin bronze. Here are three of the most popular profiles: reducer, end cap and T-mold. Trims are nominated to The Pretty Committee because metal trims: *Protect exposed edges of tile *Protect against chips and breakage *Add a subtle modern wink It’s ideal for glass, subway, metal, and geometric tiles. Really, you can use it with any tile or stone. I chose it for my own Primary bath, and I love it! I encourage you to try it. Let me know in the comments if you have utilized metal trims for your spaces and places.   Mood 😍, Tracy
