Do I have to have a New Year Resolutions??
As we embark on another New Years Eve, we reflect on the year in passing. With its ups, downs, triumphs, challenges, wins and losses, we are appreciative, humble and excited for what’s to come. And then it happens. Someone says it, you read it online or it’s on the national news. RESOLUTIONS. “What are your New Year’s resolutions?” “Here are the Top Resolutions for 2023” Holy cow! I’m just trying to summarize the last 364 days that flew by like an Aldi cashier on the weekend, and now I’m supposed to put together goals, action plans, priorities, plan B’s and the like for the next 365 days?? Yep. That’s what the resolution is all about. For me, a resolution is just another way of saying goal. So, I have daily resolutions. Plan on doing better, work on career goals, improving skills and good habits. Make resolutions challenging but achievable. And they can happen anytime! A Tuesday in March or a Friday in June. It’s all about deciding to become a better version of you. But, as is customary, I outline resolutions to work towards & celebrate in the coming year. If your resolution or goal daunts you because at some point, it will make you uncomfortable, then you have chosen wisely!! Getting uncomfortable means, you’re growing; changing and challenging yourself. Take consistent daily steps to support your success.
